Is it something I've said? LOL! Yes LOL what a stupid use of English language and I'm so familliar with text messaging now that it's like learning a whole new dictionary -- Bi Lingual in speech and cyber rubbish!

I'm really missing you guys, please can I come back? I have soooo much to tell you. I've been on TV, Radio and I'm doing so much that my head will burst! I'm locked out somewhere in cyber space and I don't know if this will get through. I've blamed my service provider, computer and even my own incompetance but I've had self proclaimed experts take a look with no success!
If you get this I'll jump for joy, well not literally, my daughter would think I'd finally gone round the pipe but you get the gist.
Hello, big hugs and huge kisses if you are reading this.

Lot's of love
Barbara Lowe xxxx

Hi Barb,

I don't know if it was the little gremlins that float around in cyber space that took offense but it sure wasn't us! I'm glad to see you again. Keep posting every day if you can. I think it is the cyber equivalent of a foot in the door, although my geek hubby gives me very strange looks when I say that.

So what all has been happening? Don't burst, just tell all!

Big welcome back hugs,

I can't believe this? Hang on let me just run round the yard and scream "I'm in!" I still don't know about blogs -- I think I'm still locked out, so just leave the key under the mat will ya?

Since I don't trust the blog, let me begin by telling you what's going on with my life. I have lot's to say tinged with sadness, happiness and down right impossible happenings. Yes I'm almost the magical or is it miraculously heading towards the big 'Five O' A fete I thought would not be possible some years ago.

Let's get the sad bit over and done with first because things do get better I can assure you! My dear Father passed away in November. My eyes produced no tears and ached as I tore up inside, so depressed at the loss. I thought I was the only person in the world to have lost.
This took me quite some time to come to terms with and in all honesty I don't think I'm over it yet and I miss him terribly.
I threw myself head first into my little radio job not bearing to be on my own at any time of day, so now I work 5 day's a week, two and a half hours live on air and meeting the most wonderfully interesting people.

My transformation begins! Yes, I'm a bit slimmer, Yes I'm still wearing scleroderma -- note I'm wearing it not suffering from it! and Yes I am a much more confident person than ever before.
My house is not yet finished, you can groan along with me at this point but it's true I've learned to live with that also. I've had family issues coming out of my ears. My daughter is now my mother and I'm behaving like the kid, pointing, wagging finger senario and feeling so irresponsible but with positiveness ouzing out of my persona I reckon I'm unrecognisable!

I'm on TV too -- Go on raise your eyebrow! it's true, filmed for a part in a documetary about lottery winners --- No! I haven't ........ won the lottery I mean but you know what? I feel as though I have!
In a nutshell this is my life. I'm Marketing Director and daytime presenter of Chorley FM I'm bursting with happiness with that little tinge of sadness whenever I think of my Dad which happens to be every day.
One day I may be able to write a blog goodness knows it will be a long one!

Much love and hugs
Barbara xxxx

Hey Chickie! I'm so glad you're back. I've missed you.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad. I've lost both my parents, and I know the void it's given me. :flowers:

Oh Barb, I am so sorry about your dad.

It's 10 years on the 19th of this month since I lost mine and I'm sure I still think about him most every day. The sadness has finally (mostly) gone and every time I do something he taught me, I think of him with gratitude. The hardest part is having him miss the fun of being a great-granddad. He'd have really loved George.

Wow, a radio and TV personality! I bet you are fabulous - You've got a great way with words and make things funny even when by rights they probably shouldn't be.

I hope we can figure out how to get you back to blogging. You've certainly got 'permission'. I'm gradually learning more about the new site software, so with a bit of luck we'll see you there soon. If the key isn't under the mat, look in the flower pot by the door. :D

Hi Barb ,

Glad to have you back. I, too, went through a period of 'gremlins' blocking me. I contacted Shelley numerous times and she would walk me through cyber space!!! I am so bad on the computer and my 'lifeline', my older son, moved too far away to just 'pop in' and help. I still get 'booted' occasionally; I will be able to post in the morning but rejected in the afternoon.

I, too, lost my Dad, unexppectedly, 14 years ago. I remember crying from the time of the phone call, at 3:30 am, to when the sun came up. I remember thinking, the sun still comes up and life still goes on. I never knew emotional heart ache could hurt so much.

Wow....love how you're keeping busy, too!!! Wish Gareth had that amount of energy!!!

Take care, Everyone.
Margaret
