listening to your son clue your son-in-law in on the family phrases that mean "you're in trouble and when I get you alone, you're going to hear about it!" According to him, "If Ma says 'Can you come here for a minute and get something down off the this shelf in the garage?' she's going to corner you..." :lol:

What about calling you by your full name; I mean the name only your parents and you know you have.

It was pretty scary for me and also for my daughter.

You're right about that one, Patty! I flinched during our wedding ceremony because the only time I usually ever heard my full name was when my mother was really, seriously, absolutely about to disown me for something. ;)
