The gastric wall in systemic sclerosis patients: a morphological study. This study provides evidence for a prominent fibrosis and severe ultrastructural alterations of smooth muscle cells and nerve fibres as the main histopathological hallmarks in the gastric wall of systemic sclerosis patients.
