Clinical and laboratory characteristics of patients with sickle-cell and autoimmune/connective tissue diseases (CTD). Patients with sickle-cell disease who develop autoimmune connective tissue disorders can present with similar clinical manifestations and/or complications making them indistinguishable. Alkindi S.
