Hi All,

I'm still sounding like a colony of seals when the fishing boat pulls up to the dock (bark, bark, croak, croak), but I don't feel nearly as bad as I did. I found the silver polish, so the spoons are going to get shined up this evening while we watch the telly. (The silver lining was that my appetite left and I'm making progress with the diet!)

Tawanda, Abdominal Migraine sounds like the absolute pits! Poor baby, I hope she is lots better. And you are right about stress being really awful for us. I had a really stressful week about the middle of December and paid for it with interest. I think that might have been what lowered my resistance to the point where the virus could work its wicked way.

Warm hugs,

Jeannie, new shiny stainless steel spoons are on the way. Hopefully, they will hold you over while you recover. Happy to hear that you are polishing up some of yours. I hope that doesn't use up even more spoons. Get well soon my friend.

Well I just read your post; for a few days I was out of the computer trying to recoup some of those spoons, so now I can give you a few. Listen, I love margaritas, so if you need company let me know
Hope you feel better.

Hugs Patty

I have unfortunately also been out of action for a couple of weeks so missed your initial post - so a bit belated but I really hope you are feeling so very much better.

My mum gave me a silver spoon wind chime as a gift - I love its sound - haven't noticed them working as 'spare spoons' yet but who knows!

Tawanda - I had abdominal migraine from the age of 4 - stress of school started it and it occurred regularly on a Sunday evening - triggered nerves for return to school on a Monday. No great comfort to you or your daughter at the moment but I did eventually grow out of it - hope you both get some help with that problem - you both can do without repeated episodes.

Having been out of action for a week and just returning to the 'real' world my father had a heart attack - he is doing fine but it really knocked me for six. Stress really is a big issue for us isn't it. However on a much more positive note (I am trying) our weather in the South West of the UK is certainly improving - small bulbs are starting to sprout, so hopefully this will give us all a lift that we appear to be needing.

I wish everyone well.

Sometime I wish there was just a 'like' button on some posts!
I'm up for a margarita party.

Jeannie, I hope you're feeling better and better each day!
I have the worst time recovering from colds/flu's.

Stay toasty warm and get some furry slippers (aka doggy bellies)

WOW - I missed this thread also. Shame on me. I'm so sorry to read about everything you are going through Darlin! This is such an up and down disease and those down years act like a vacuum and suck everything out of us. But from my experience, bad years are soon followed by better years and maybe even a "good" so I'll keep my fingers crossed that now that you've had that bad year, that 2011 is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you find that magic pill and that you begin to feel better both physically and emotionally.

Lots and lots of hugs your way.
