Hello everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been here for a while. Recently, I have been very busy going through extensive work training rehabilitation. Things are getting better for me. I am in the process of getting to a customer service internship in one of NYC hospital. I want all Sclero.org members to know that I always talk about how kind and extremely helpful you were to me when I was going through difficult times.

Recently, I have been suffering from pain muscle pain in additional to terrible hot flashes.

I appreciate your input.

Warm hugs,

Hi Alice,

Sorry to hear that you've been suffering horrible muscle pain and hot flushes.

I can certainly empathise with you over the muscle and joint pains, although I was very fortunate in that I shot through the menopause like an express train and thankfully wouldn't recognise a hot flush if it jumped up and bit me!! ;)

I've found keeping my joints as active and mobile as possible has helped with the joint pain; I would emphasise though that it's important to exercise within your own capability and not overdo it or this could cause more harm than good. Once I was diagnosed and put on medication it did make all the difference to me; obviously I like to be on as low a dose as possible to relieve the discomfort. We have a link here on pain management which I hope will be of interest to you.

I'm so glad that things are going well for you now and it's excellent that you've recommended us so hopefully more people will be able to receive comfort and help from this wonderful site. :woohoo:
