Thursday one tiny little purple crocus appeared in our garden! Now bear in mind that this hardy little plant always gets snowed on when it's in bloom and it's still the first half of March, I'm still excited. :jump-for-joy: 'Bout time. Enough already, winter. Go away!

Yes, it's really coming!!

No flowers here yet for me, but the Canadian geese and red winged blackbirds have come back, so the winter must be really over!! :happy-dance:

Time to start my indoor seeds! :emoticons-yes:

Yes indeed, spring is upon us. Yesterday I saw a bunch of robins, our state bird.

I actually saw some pink Cherry Blossom yesterday a little further south than where I live so it really made me feel as if spring was really here! Lots of the trees are budding etc and hopefully we have seen the last of the cold weather.

Well, today I took my mother to lovely farm shop and we saw the sweetest little baby lambs. I feel they're a real sign of Spring! :emoticons-yes:

They were kept in a large barn at the moment (I think they go outside as soon as it's a little warmer) and they were quite tame and we were able to stroke them and make a fuss of them. Sadly I realise that they're destined for the dinner table, but this farm does look after them very well and they have a happy life, albeit a short one. :)

We have had two days in a row with sunshine here in Leeds! So it must be getting on to spring, I'm planning out my garden now in preparation!
