No flowers here yet for me, but the Canadian geese and red winged blackbirds have come back, so the winter must be really over!!
Time to start my indoor seeds!

Yes indeed, spring is upon us. Yesterday I saw a bunch of robins, our state bird.

They were kept in a large barn at the moment (I think they go outside as soon as it's a little warmer) and they were quite tame and we were able to stroke them and make a fuss of them. Sadly I realise that they're destined for the dinner table, but this farm does look after them very well and they have a happy life, albeit a short one.

I saw a tree starting to flower with pink blooms and forsythia today!
But it's still on the cold side.
