Blood Viscosity Shown to Be Elevated in Scleroderma Patients. Research demonstrated significantly higher blood viscosity in scleroderma patients over healthy controls and, among scleroderma patients, higher blood viscosity in patients having active digital (finger) ulcers over those scleroderma patients that did not.
