Hello All

How many 'ologists do you have?

When I was first diagnosed I only had one, a rheumatologist and 4 years on I only have three, from scleroderma I have a rheumatologist and a cardiologist, I also have a randomly acquired gynecologist but that's not scleroderma related, I think, but for the purpose of this count an 'ologist is an 'ologist so I have three!

I am certain there must be some of you with at least five, well way more than me anyways!

Who will win the award for having the most 'ologists? I have a sneaking suspicion who may be among the top five but I could be wrong!

There's a bunch of :balloons: and a :emoticon-congratulations: in it for the winner plus the prestigious title of "2011's patient with the most 'ologists!"

Take care.

Amanda,

Under other circumstances I would be saying you need to get out more  but that's not easy for you so I think we had better think of some more mind stretching puzzles for you to work on!!

However, since you asked the question, I couldn't stop thinking and counting my ologists.

I have a Rheumatologist, 2 Gastroenterologists, Cardiologist, Dermatologist and 3

surgeons, Vascular, Colo-Rectal and Gastro.

If you can turn those 3 surgeons into ologists I am way out in front at the moment. Not sure that it is so important to be in front - perhaps it would be healthier to be behind.

Best wishes

Judy

As well, I meant to tell you that I took some photos of my glorious support stockings and have been trying to upload them, but so far I can't. Jo has tried to help me but it is still a work in progress.

OOps, I forgot the Neurologist who I haven't seen for ages because no headaches for 7 years. Then there is the Audiologist who I will have to go back to because I am getting so deaf - what was that you said?. And the Opthalmologist because my glasses need an upgrade, not to mention my wooden leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic ladies and great numbers so far!

Judy I had no idea you has so many, I make 7 and I can't wait to see the stockings! Wooden leg, I wish as they don't get ulcers just woodworm!

Miocean I make 18 medical ones (some people are just soooo greedy!) and no you don't get to include your husband unless he examines you and I really don't want to know about that!

Annie, 3 is a good number particularly as I only have 3!

Jo, you just outdo me and Annie by 2, I expected you to have more but I'm not sure why?

So, anyone else with more than Miocean?

Take care.

I've had so many I've lost count so now I suppose I'll need to add a numerologist!

Pun intended.

I like this thread, Judy! Thanks for starting it, because it sure has made me laugh

I just wanted to say that I have the "usual" 'ologists,, but just had to add that my hubby is
working on perfecting his "special recipe, so I would like to add to the "MIX" here, that I'm
thinking he surely must be a "Bananabreadrecipeperfectionologist" :emoticons-yes: (Besides
THAT, I reap the benefits of all of his testings, as I happen to be his guinea pig!!!

I was going to put "astrologist" in my original post but thought THAT was pushing it.

We need an icon for a trophy, don't we? Well, we're fresh out of trophy icons. So I hereby dub :fairy: this the ISN Spoon Award for Ologists. It's three virtual spoons that you can use, anytime you need more energy to go visit all your ologists.
