I was looking over my bloodwork this morning. I came to the BUN/Creatinine Ratio. The norms are 6.0-25.0. My level is 25. It appears that this has to do with kidney functioning(?) And it appears that my count is at the high end of normal(?)

Is this something I should be concerned about (or at least take note of)? My rheumatologist didn't mention it that I recall - and since it was still in "normal" range, it wasn't highlighted by the lab.

Jersey,

Yes, that has to do with the kidneys and although you are at the high end of normal, that's fine. I would however if it were me watch it or ask for a repeat test within a year. Even if it would have been a bit higher than that, he would have told you it was "normal". (I'm a nurse) Here's a link for you to look at BUN.

Keep us posted.
Warm and gentle hugs,
