Hi all,

Well, My doctor out at U of M called me today about my 2-D Echo. Not the best news I've ever gotten. She set me up an appt. to see the PAH specialist out there at the end of Nov. And I'm sure that a right heart cath will soon follow that appt. It didn't come as a total surprise, because when I was out there in Aug. I saw my scleroderma expert and he said that his guess was that my lung issues stemmed more from my vascular system than from scarring in my lungs. So it turns out he was right! So on to the next hurdle! I better get my running shoes on for this one!!!
Anywho, Thanx for listening!

Warm and Happy to ya's xo Vee

Hi Vee,

Thanks for the update....I am just sorry it isn't better news! I hope your appointment with the PAH specialist in November goes well and, if you have PAH, they start treating it quickly for you. Please do keep us all posted and know that you are in my thoughts.

Warm wishes,

Hi Vee
Sorry to hear the news but you are in great hands at U of Mich., so be confident that things will be taken care of properly. I was so impressed with them when I went and I'm sure that they will check you out carefully and get things under control.
They're at the forefront of all the new meds for PAH.
Thinking of you and sending positive thoughts.
Take care of yourself and treat yourself to something nice!

Thanks for letting us know what's going on. Sorry it wasn't better news. I'm not familiar with UofM, but it sounds like you are in excellent hands and they are really going after this lung problem. I hope they find the right treatment and it works wonders for you. Good luck and please keep us a part of your journey.

Hi Vee! I'm so sorry to hear about your news. At the same time it's a very good thing that they're catching this thing early. Remember, there's lots of good meds available and you're in very good hands. Like the others, I wish you best of luck with the pulmonologist. And keep us posted! Sunshine heading your way, Claudia
