Both of my hands are contracted fingertip to palm.  My third finger on my left hand is digging into my palm.  My hand surgeon and I have decided to straighten both my index and middle finger via a Proximal Interphalangeal (PIP) fusion surgery.  I'm a bit nervous about healing afterwards as I have severe Raynaud's.  Anyone else gone down this road and have advice, tips?

Hi Ajh,

Welcome to these forums!

Thankfully I've not had the problem you describe, but I have included a link to another thread on Raynaud's and Surgery which I hope will give you some more information.

I've also included a link to our medical pages on Raynaud's.

Kind regards,
