Indoleamine 2,3 dioxygenase (IDO) gene polymorphisms correlate with CD8+ Treg impairment in systemic sclerosis.

 

Our unprecedented data show that a specific IDO gene SNP is associated with an autoimmune disease such as systemic sclerosis. PubMed Hum Immunol. 2013 Feb;74(2):166-9 (Also see: Causes of Scleroderma: Genetics)
