Lipid and lipoprotein levels and trends in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) compared to the general population.

 

RA patients appear to have an overall lower total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein than the general population, despite the general overall risk of cardiovascular disease in RA from observational studies. PubMed, Arthritis Care Res, 2013 Aug 7. (Also see: Rheumatoid Arthritis)
