The importance of early treatment for the prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

 

To improve the clinical outcome of RA, efforts should be directed towards diagnosing RA earlier and introducing disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) therapy immediately after the diagnosis has been made. PubMed, Swiss Med Wkly, 2013 Sep 19. (Also see: Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatments)
