I have had these come and go over the past year or so. I've read it can be related to heart problems....? I thought it was Raynaud's related.

Anybody else get these?

Hi Barefut,
Do you mean nail fold capiliaries?
I have the beginning of nail fold capiliaries (redness) on/near the cuticle of the nails.

Kind regards

Mine are like Celia's. I think that my doctor told me it was indicative of autoimmune. One time one of them broke open and bled a lot.

My husband had splinter hemorages under his nails when he was first diagnosed. They looked just liked splinters that ran almost the length of his nails. Once he was on meds (Cardura), they went away even though his hands still turn colors almost every day.
