I have low blood pressure especially when I first get up; sometimes it makes me dizzy.

I don't think it is my medications as I am not on enough or the type that would cause this except maybe my antidepressant or pain meds but this is new; most of the time my blood pressure has been really good.

Hi Quiltfairy,

My blood pressure is naturally quite low and was even lower when I was much fitter (infinitely better than high blood pressure and the possibility of a stroke! ;) ) . I think it rather depends on what is "normal" for you, but if it persists and you're worried, perhaps you could make an appointment with your doctor to discuss it? I've found a useful link for you about Low Blood Pressure.

It might be worth taking and noting down your blood pressure readings over a period of, say two weeks, to take to your doctor to help him determine a possible cause.
