Sarcoidosis-associated pulmonary hypertension (SAPH) and lung transplantation for sarcoidosis.

 

Lung transplantation is a viable therapeutic option for sarcoid patients with severe pulmonary fibrocystic sarcoidosis or SAPH refractory to medical therapy. PubMed, Semin Respir Crit Care Med, 2014 Jun;35(3):362-71. (Also see: Sarcoidosis)
