Hi, does anyone get what I call hot head? My head feels like it is on fire, though I do not have a temp. Matter of fact my body temp. can be as low as 95.0 I think it must have something to do with my raynauds, that is the vasuclar clamping must cut blood off from the brain, which would, some might say, answer a lot of questions about my absent mindedness. No dr. has ever really addressed this issue adequately. Thanks, Joe

I do too sometimes get a hot, flushed feeling in my face but with no fever. Don't know.....?

Joe, I first would like to welcome you here.
Now to your question... I don't recall having a hot head as you described. Also, for my time here, I don't recall anyone posing this question before. However, I'm really curious to find out what may be causing that particular symptom.
Hope an answer comes soon for you.
Susie

Joe- YES!

I have tried to describe this feeling to my rheumatologist numerous times, but he just looks at me like he thinks I'm crazy. I have no idea what it is or what causes it. I seem to get it more during the winter than any other season. If someone knows the answer to this one, I would love to hear it.
Warm and gentle hugs,

Joe,

Yes, I have had this sensation but never even thought to ask any dr. about it. Always just thought I was nuts because when I would take my temp it would be 98.6 or lower (I generally run a low temp as my normal). Let us know if you or anyone else ever gets an answer to this one!

Did you ever find out anything on hot head symptoms? I saw your post back from 2006

Emmie, hi my name is Theresa I typed in hot head the other day and this site came up and there your post and others were. Do you remember replying to a Joe about his head feeling like it was on fire all the time? Did you everget any results from your doctor?
