Pathogenesis and targeted treatment of skin injury in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

 

Ultraviolet light (UV), immune cells, cytokines and deposition of immunoglobulins all seem to have a role in the development of skin inflammation and damage in SLE. PubMed, Nat Rev Rheumatol, 08/04/2015. (Also see Symptoms and Complications of Lupus)
