Welcome to the forum! Sorry you're here due to your scleroderma, but as you probably have already noticed, it's a great place to share and visit with people that have the same problems that you do. Fatigue is that nagging one that affects so many of us at different levels.

I hope you post some more so we can learn more about you. Welcome!

HI Connie,

I just wanted to join the others in officially welcoming you to the board! I am glad you found us, but sorry it is because of your scleroderma. I do hope you will come here and post often and let us all get to know you a bit better.

Warm wishes,

#4 Connie

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. A little about myself. It's hard to believe but I'm 50 plus! I'm married and have four sons and one grandson. I work at the local school in the kitchen. It's a great job for me because it is only three hours each day. I know I could never work full time. Sometimes I have a hard time staying the three hours. I have all of the usual "junk" that goes with Scleroderma. The thing that bothers me the most is that I don't look sick so a lot people think I'm just a complainer. So it's good to be able to talk to people who know how I feel.
Thanks again. Connie

Welcome to the board! You can always come here to vent.

I am glad you have a job that suits you. I am sure you are busy with that grandbaby.

It's nice to meet you,

Hi Connie,

Welcome to the sclero forums. I can really relate to the comment you made about not looking very sick, so some people just don't get it. At this point in the game, I just don't care. Those who are close to me understand, and the rest can take a hike as far as I'm concerned.

Your Friend,

Gi Gi

Hi Connie!
How's things?? Even though I don't complain... I feel I complain a lot over nothing. But on the inside I know things are not quite right. So, I'm very tired and can't seem to sleep. I rarely nap because it's never enough LOL What we feel is real. I'm to the point where I don't have to explain my crankiness to anyone ;)
