Urinary dedifferentiated podocytes as a non-invasive biomarker of lupus nephritis (LN).

 

Urinary dedifferentiated podocytes were shown in active LN, and their protein levels correlated with proteinuria and histological features in LN. PubMed, Nephrol Dial Transplant, 02/29/2016. (Also see Symptoms and Complications of Lupus)
