Hi Katherine,

Sorry you are dealing with this icky rash. It could be so many things though and most unrelated to sclero. Could be contact dermatitis. Have you recently starting using new soap, lotion, etc? Any new foods??

I know with my lupus if I am out in the sun very long I get a rash, but unless you are in the tropics somewhere that is unlikely this time of year.

Take a tepid bath in oatmeal, or baking soda, that will help with the itch. If you don't have any problems with benadryl you can also take some of that. You can also use Calamine lotion.

Good luck

I get a rash on my lower legs quite often. They are white little bumps which turn red and scabby. It looks like poison ivy and itches like crazy!!! They are in a quarter size patch in several places. I don't know what causes them but I don't change anything in diet or topical items. Maybe it's my nerves LOL It's annoying!!!! The dr. doesn't know why I have it. The dr. told me to use Eucerin cream which does help the itch but not for long. I went to a bath shop and bought this cream with camphor (if you send me a PM, I will send you the name of it). It feels cool when you first put it on. It's expensive but it's the only thing that really helps the itch.
Hope you have a great day~
