Hello everyone,
I have been experiencing muscle fatigue for the last few weeks now and was wondering whether anyone else has experienced it.
It is in my calves (if I walk anymore than 60 metres continuosly) I get severe burning sensations in them. My wrists (when I type ), and in my shoulders/arms (when I peg out washing or stir food in a saucepan) my muscles throb.
I have mentioned to my rheumatologist but they don't say much.
I have been told that I have Fibromyalgia as well as Limited Scleroderma and was wondering whether this is related to Fibromyalgia?

Thanking you in advance

Celia :P

ced, the issues you're having could be a result of both the Sclero and Fibro...
The carpal tunnel I had surgery for (both wrists)....prior to my Sclero diagnosis (which was said to have brought on the CT).
You feel it's muscle throbbing in your shoulder also? I was just wondering if it could possibly be pinched nerve, since it's effecting your arm also?
Regardless, I hope you are able to communicate this with your doctor and diagnostics
performed so the source of your trouble can be helped.

Hi Celia,

I do have muscle weakness. Recently my rheumatologist tested me for Vit. D. deficiency, as he stated this is becoming more and more common with people who suffer autoimmune diseases.

Might be something you can mention to your doctor.

Hi Celia, I have constant pain (aching - stiffness - burning) in my neck, across my shoulders and between the shoulderblades. It hurts all the time. It started last December and just kept getting worse until I couldn't turn my head. My rheumatologist tested me for Fibro (he poked me to test for trigger points or whatever) and that was negative. I'm on pain pills, but that wasn't helping so he told me to try an OTC cream, which helped, but my husband has to rub it on 3x a day and when my mom died, I forgot all about the cream for a couple weeks and so now I'm back to hurting again, but it's not as bad as it was before - I can turn my head now, painfully, but I can do it. I'm trying to get back in the habit of doing the cream 3x a day. I'm also doing some neck stretches.
