Hello,
I just had my Endoscopy today. I would say that the worst part of it was the IV! Other than that I dont remember a thing. I have spent the rest of my day doing absolutely nothing, but that hasnt been so bad either!

The good news is that so far the results are normal, the biopsy results will come in later by mail.

Hugs~

Hi Erin,

I am glad your endoscopy went well and you got to do nothing today (hopefully you got lots of rest and sleep). I am also happy to hear that the results look good so far. Please do keep us posted on what the rest of the results show.

Warm wishes,
Heidi

Hi West,

Glad it went well for you. Mine is Friday, along with my colonoscopy. It's Wed. eve. and I just had my last meal until Friday afternoon-ish. I'm pretty sure clear liquids won't keep me from fainting from hunger :o

I'm going to make sure they have me totally out for it. I was gagging and wretching through my bronchoscope. Don't want to do that again if it's not necessary, and I'm pretty sure it's NOT!

Take care,
Barefut

Erin,
Thanks for letting us know your results. Congratulations on the results being normal. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the biopsy results are the same.

Hope you had a very restful afternoon. You deserved it.

I just had an endoscopy. They only found reflux. They biopsied two bits which I just found out are benign. Woo hoo.

The IV did pinch but they couldn't do it in my other arm. The skin on my other arm was tighter. Like Erin, I remember nothing... except calling my mom afterwards saying - mom I'm on drugs... before noon. I was really out of it.

Best of luck,
peanut
