i got my disability allowance today back dated to march I am so pleased, every little helps , I am finding it harder and harder to get to work had a bad day to day so never went to work but had doctor appointment blood preasure is up so increased medication my doctor said that she has had 4 people in the last few months with scleritis and because of me has checked them for scleroderma she has also asked me if I would make an appointment with one of the trainee doctors and when I get there tell them she has sent me to see if they an diagnose my condition giving only what my symptoms were at the begining so I am going to do that on 14 may look forward to doing this , and to write down any symptoms I have had over the years that could be connected to scleroderma Lynn

Glad you got your disability and sorry to hear about the bad day, and the increase in meds. I think it's great that you are going to help train future doctors about this disease. If I had to remember anything over the past few years they'd be out of luck. Let us know if they are able to correctly diagnose you. It would boost my moral knowing that another doctor actually takes this condition seriously.

Best wishes

Congratulations, Lyndylou!

I'm going to place my sclero bet that the trainee doctor will not be able to properly diagnose you. But I sure hope I'm wrong!
