Hi Jenny,

Yes I do. My rheumatologist told me it was due to either the connective tissue disease itself, or could be the plaquenil. I use a self tanner to try and even out my blotchiness. I also have found a foundation that covers it nicely. If you want to know the name of it you can send me a private message.

I do have that on my back (they call it a saucer and cup), my sides, and stomach. I have noticed a very small one on my wrist.. although I am not 100% sure the one on my wrist is scleroderma. .

I have the splotch brown spots on my face too. I have had them for a while. And there are more popping up. I didn't give them much thought as being connected to scleroderma. I thought they were just "age spots"
Peace :)

Hi, Jenny!

I have a dark spot on the right side of my face. It's a light brown and not terribly obvious. My makeup does a pretty good job of evening things out and hiding it.

Hi Sweet,

Thanks for your reply! If you have the name of the cover up I would love to have you PM it to me.. I have just tried one that is working quite well.

Thanks for your help! They told me that the sun will make the browning worse?

Hi Sweet,

What I use is a product that contains all herbs and botanicals. If you are interested let me know, and I will send you a PM. I haven't showed my rheumatologist the product yet but I will be this tuesday, so I will let you know hat he says. Do you know if your product is safe for sclero patients?

Thanks Jenny
