This hearing thing really got to me. One do everything over because of the first time the audio wasn't on. NIce huh. I had to sit there waiting for the judge to come back because she wanted to go to a holiday party with her husband. It was supose to start AT 1:00 and she didn't get back until almost three. I was there at 12:00 because I wasn't sure where I had to go.

And I can't get the medical records from my one doctor who is my sclero doctor. Its really hard for them to send them out while for my others its not. I guess they are going to supenea them. Spelled wrong.

I can't sleep and I havent been able to eat much. I ache all over and my throat still hurts from vomiting. So what do I do?? well One I am calling my doctor to let him know how this is effecting me. Then I'm letting my lawery and judge know as well.

Well thanks for listening I jsut needed to get this off my chest. Sam

Sam, it sounds like you are doing everything possible in order for this process to work properly. Hang in there.

Hang in there sweetie. I know it must seem like your world is crumbling down, but it will be better soon. It has to, right? You may be totally surprised that you are approved. I was. I was surprised to...but we are not healthy people....and I am sure that your Scleroderma reports will show all the evidence you need.
Take it easy sweetness.

Hang in there Sam :) I hope things get better for you! I had some trouble with getting one doctors records too - most doctors had no problem giving the records directly to me, but one doctor's office said my lawyer had to contact them to request records for Soc. Sec. It's just some weird policy they have. Hope you can find some time to relax & pamper yourself, sounds like you really need a break from the stress! Take care..

Hang in there!! I know it's tough because I went through the disability hearng nightmare. Did you know that by law your medical records are YOURS and a dr cannot refuse to provide you copies? They can charge for copying them, but they cannot refuse to give you a copy. When I was working, (stopped working in 2004) they were allowed to charge a $10.00 "search fee" then 50 cent per page for the first 50 pages and 25cent per page over 50. When Social Security requests them they are by also by law to provide them to them and they can only charge SS $14.00 (at least that what it was in 2004). If your lawyer requests them they can charge the lawyer the per page/search fee charges.
BE PERSISTANT!!!!!You deserve better!!!!!
Peace :)

I feel for you. You are going through one of the most frustrating, maddening things one can have to endure. To be at the mercy of others who are not in your shoes and they hold the power to either make your life easier or miserable.

All I can say is hang in there and try to find time in your days to decompress. Soak in a hot tub, yoga, big fat margurita? (my favorite) ...Whatever will help you to relax, even if it is only for a little while. Venting is important too, so let 'er rip! We're here.
