I was supposed to go to my rheumatologist today for my month check up but Tom hurt his neck on Fathers day so he didn't feel up to driving today. At least I already have appointment for next month but I am bummed because I figured today she would get the ball rolling on the yearly tests. Oh well nothing I can do and a month really is not that long of a wait next to what so many here have to wait. I also was a bit bummed because I found a lump under my arm and I wanted her to check it out. She did call to check on me when she heard that I had to cancle today and I was able to ask her about ut. She told me to call my general practitioner and let them know, she also asked if it hurt, when I told her no, she said to make sure I called his office I asked h er about lowering my prednisone but she said I had to stay on the 7.5 for now. Oh well at least I am not gaining weight anymore. I lost 6 pounds!! So anyway back to my lump, I called my general practitioner office and I will see the APRN the 29th I think it is. I am not worried, just a bit concerned right now. I just get nervous now because of having the DM I am higher risk of cancer or so I swear thats what I read. so thats my story of the day. I hope everyone is having a wonderful carefree day!

Hey Patty,

Sorry you were unable to keep your appt. Hopefully waiting a month won't cause a problem.

Hope Tom's neck is better!
