Welcome to the ISN Sclero Forums, Gaurav. I am glad you have found us but sorry it is because you are suffering from systemic sclerosis. This is a very friendly place to interact and share information with others with similar problems. I don't have lung issues, yet, but others will certainly join in to offer suggestions. In the meantime, the main site has a wealth of information.

I hope you can find some useful information with these two links:

LUNG (PULMONARY): MAIN MENU and

Common Medical Tests for Scleroderma: Pulmonary (Lung)

I am sure this will arm you well with information when you arrange for tests with your doctor.

Warm wishes,
Jefa

Gaurav,
Welcome Darlin'. Sorry you have joined us due to your scleroderma and related symptoms. You mentioned that you might be developing lung problems. I have both mild pulmonary hypertension (PH) and fibrosis. Both cause shortness of breath for me as well as low stamina and endurance. Jefa gave you a great link where you can find the medical tests for lung involvement as well as treatments. So the first thing you need to do is see a lung specialist and have some tests done (particularly the pulmonary function tests, high resolution cat scan and echo cardiogram). I'm currently taking Tracleer for the PH and it's help a lot, and Cellcept for the fibrosis. It also seems to be helping, but I won't know until I retest and compare.

I really never had chest pains, so I'm not sure what's causing that. Please bring it up with your doctor. Let us know how you are doing. We're so glad you're here!

Big Hugs,
