Hi All,

I just got back home from my quarterly appt. in Ann Arbor. My doctor said she is bored with me, and that she meant that in the best way! She said there really isn't anything she can do for, or that there is anything wrong with me that she needs to do anything for! Aside from a pain med once in awhile, I had to fess up to cutting my prednisone in half since May 1, and she said that's good enough, now I can stop taking them all together! Yeah! Always love to take a med off the list, but she warned me that I may fing myself needing it again, come winter due to the cold and what that does to our sclero bodies. I asked her what she felt about me getting my knees "cleaned out", and she said it was a good ides, since I've had that particular pain since before my diagnosis of sclero.
So ya' all stay positive and know that you can beat this thing, I plan to be here for a long time to come. Now I just have to take care of my dad, he had a heartattack last week and is in tomorrow for a triple bypass! BooHoo! Please keep positive thoughts for my dad and his doctors.

Thanks for always being here! I'll let ya's know how surgery goes.
Happy people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have!

Warm and Happy to you! Vee

Vee, I'm so glad Dr. Schiopu is getting bored with treatments for you. Hopefully, the flare ups you have been having are now put to rest. I'll be thinking of you and your family while your father under goes surgery tomorrow. I haven't been downriver since the last time I saw you. I will get in touch with you in the next couple of months for a visit. All is well on my end. Hugs! to you and your family. Sheryl

Hi, Vee. So glad to hear you are boring. Medically, of course, as you are anything but. Good news about the prednisone, too. I am sorry to hear about your dad's hearth problems. I will be thinking positive thoughts for him and sending hugs for you, so you can keep stress free during his recovery.
Warm wishes,
Jefa
