I asked the dermatologist about the lump on my finger. He said it did not appear to be calcinosis but maybe it was a mucous digital ulcer from esophageal problems. Hmmm. I googled this and cannot find information on this and it's relation to esophagus disease. Has anyone heard of this?
He said that we'd just keep an eye on it and was not concerned.

I'm glad to hear it's nothing of great concern. It's just another scleroderma mystery.

Hey Jen -

Hmmm can't say I've ever heard of it. Hopefully it's not bothering you too much.

Jennifer, I'm confused! How can a digital ulcer have anything to do with esophogus trouble??? I find that totally interesting!!

I find it interesting too. I will find out what and let everyone know. Hmm.
Puzzled.
