Gloria Helfgott; 79 Artist and Teacher. Gloria Helfgott, a world renowned preeminent artist, curator and teacher in the field of book arts (a form of sculpture) died of scleroderma on June 23 at her home on Jacon Way in Pacific Palisades, where she lived since 1996. Gloria is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Women, and Who's Who in the World. Pacific Palisades Post. 06/27/07.

I have come across examples of Gloria's 'book art' before. I didn't know she had scleroderma, too. It seems she had a full and interesting life.
