HI Everyone.
Thought this article on PubMed may be of interest. It suggests that there may be muscle abnormalities in scleroderma patients and that this could be the cause of some of the weakness and fatigue commonly experienced. So let there be no more guilt about not doing the chores- it not laziness or all in the mind. I'm going to celebrate that good news with a little lie on the sofa, a book and a glass of something nice.

Title Muscle abnormalities in scleroderma. Olsen, N J. King, L E Jr. Park, J H.

Source Rheumatic Diseases Clinics of North America. 22(4):783-96, 1996 Nov.

It states:
Weakness and fatigue are common symptoms in patients with scleroderma and may be due at least in part to underlying abnormalities of muscle.
