All summer my hands were great, aside from the thickening in 4 of my fingers. Now I've been waking up for the past week with the swollen puffy hands again and I can't make a fist with my right hand. I guess it must just be "the season"?
Can't figure out what else may have changed.

Anybody else notice the same?

Also have a thickening/lump behind second toe on left foot. Really weird

Have a pain free day all,
Love,
Barefut

Hmmmm no changes here.... well my behind seems a little puffy :P

Seriously, summer is my worst time. I hope it's just something salty you ate etc.

This is my MAIN complaint. I have this happening on both my hands. I can't make a fist with either hand and my knuckles are really dry and bright red. My fingers feel really fat. The tightening is all over the back of my hands up to my wrists. The skin is really dark looking also. Mine seems to be getting worst as the days go by.
Take care and stay warm,

Michelle

Hi Kuntry~

Do you have a parafin wax bath at home? They help a lot and feel so good. You can find them for $30.00 in big discount stores.

Stay Warm,

Sweet Sweet,

Summer would be my worst time too if I lived East of the mountains! I don't know how you deal with the heat over there!

My behind is puffy too! (you nut :P )

I did have pepperoni pizza the other night. I will be watching what I eat and drinking lots of water.

Love,
B

barefut, ya know... I'm glad you brought this up, as it's been awhile since I've thought about it. This time of year, I think this kind of treatment would benefit those of us who suffer with the symptoms of raynauds. I'm going to put this on my list so I can pick up a parafin wax bath tomorrow! *THANKS!*

Sweet, That was cute! (I seem to have "puffy behind syndrome", now that you mention it)! LOL

Not sure if this is a factor but it seems that when I drink more water the hand "puffiness" seems to decrease. Regards, Gidget

Mine is worse when I have a hangover, so that would seem to tally with the drinking more water makes them less puffy theory, as you are dehydrated with a hangover ;-)
