I had my ultrasound a week ago yesterday. An appoinment was set up for me to see my primary care physician on the 23rd. However, her nurse called today and told me that the dr wants to see me tomorrow... about the results.
While I had her on the phone, I told her that I might have a UTI and wondered if I could get that checked out as well. So, I go in to the lab at 8 am and then I see the dr at 9:20.
I'll let you know how this ll goes

Susie, I hope you get things taken care of tomorrow at your doctors office. Good Luck. Do you think you have a goiter? Is that what they were scanning with the ultra sound? Sure hope everything is ok. Keep us informed. I'll be thinking about you. Sheryl

Hi Sheryl,
Yes, I've had a goiter for quite some time... it's just gotten extremely large over the last 6 months. It's impinging on my eosphagus and windpipe,, creating more difficulty when it comes to swallowing, etc. I have no expectations imn regard to the visit with the doctor... just as you're doing with your 6 month visits... we take it as it comes. I'm not concerned but I sure appreciate your post, my friend
Hugs to you, Susie

Hi Susie,

Good Luck tomorrow. Are you already hypothyroid--hashimoto's? Please let us know what you find out. And aren't UTIs the absolute peeits?!! I hate that feeling of always needing to get to the bathroom. You are going to have a lot to report tomorrow! Take care.

Thanks emmie and Erin,

I just got back a bit ago...Yeeessss, emmie, you are so right :P ! I do have a UTI, alright. 10 days of Bactrim was ordered for treatment.
As for the thyroid ultrasound results... Apparently, there's a need for a biopsy. So... That will be on the 24th.
Also, on the 24th, I'll be having an abdominal ultrasound... much better than the alternative, right  ?! I have some "issues" (can't think of a delicate way to say this....so I won't  ). Anyway, I'll be getting that checked out as well.
Then I'll go back to my primary care physician on Nov 1st for follow-up/results.
In the meantime, I've been given a prescription for Levsin to help with spasms I have withIBS. The dandy gastro who performed the colonscopy wrote that he would put me on anti-spasmodic meds, but never did... even when I called back directly after <_< .
Once I find out what's what, I'll let you know.
