Leg Pain

I have pains in my upper and lower legs - It actually feels like the blood is not circulating - I am olive skinned and it looks like my legs have a purple tinge to them - They feel like they are tingling - My rhuem put me on Trentol - I don't this is helping - Any sugguestions -

I was on Trentol then Pletol and my rheumatologist switched me to Norvasc instead, for better circulation. It also is helping with the Raynaud's. It is working great for me.

My legs have been killing me lately, but they aren't purple. I would touch base with your doctor.

I was on Trentol many years ago without results. My feet are a deep red with blotches of deep purple. That will never change. I've been to a vascular surgeon who did a test and said blood flow was good to the legs and feet and discoloration was due to the Raynauds which resulted in the bursting of blood vessels and is permanent.

Why don't you check with a vascular surgeon to make sure blood flow is adequate to your lower limbs. Test is quick and you'll be done in no time. It's totally non invasive. :)

i too have lots of pains in my legs sometimes I can't walk I use a lot of heat pads sorry can't offer anything else ;) im not on meds only for eyes and reflux have a gd day jaxsx

my legs used to ache all the time. dr. put me on verapamil. worked well.
