hmm call your doctor, my face is swollen too but from the steroid injections, maybe your having allergic reaction to your meds. Well I just looked up and seen you are not taking meds. Are you taking anything? Like vitamins, minerals anything? Years ago I had tried taking fish oil tablets and guco something another and one of them made my face swell up plus on top of that I was starting to have a sinus infection. So just get it checked out. Take care, Sam

I agree with Sam,

I really think you need to call your doctor. It sounds like a reaction to something.

Please let us know what they say.

Jax,
I agree with Sam and Sweet. Please go see a doctor. It could be a reaction to something or possibly shingles. The sooner you find out what it is, the better. Please let us know how you're doing.

Are you sure you weren't bitten by a spider during the night? That's happened to me, but on the leg. :(

Hey Thanks for the report back. Sometimes it's very difficult to come up with a reason for allergic reactions, it can be so many things. Anyway, glad it wasn't anything more serious.

jaxs, I 'm glad you went to the dr, but I'm sorry the cause isn't known.

I hope that the swelling calms down soon and you don't have anymore after effects.

Hi Jaxs I wonder if you have Shingles there is a awfull lot of it going around at the moment and as your immune system is low you can pick this up very easily you need to check with your general practitioner Lynn

Jaxs, Could it be new pjs or sheets or pillows that weren't pre washed before using them. Take a picture of your face so that you can show this to your doctors when you go. Especially, if it is gone for next apt. and then comes back again. The doctor can hopefully tell by a picture what it appears to be. I hope you are feeling better and the swelling has gone down.
