I went yesterday morning. I've had them before, so I wasn't concerned with the procedure. But I didn't just get an external ultrasound, I was surprised with an internal one  Yikes! It doesn't hurt, I just wish someone would have warned me that I was getting one! I see the gyno on tuesday for the results. I talked to my sclero doctor about the bleeding, and she said that she doesn't think that I was on the cyclophosphimide long enough for that to be playing a factor in all of this, but to get everything checked out, just to be safe. She said that some women "my age"(thanks doctor), get fibroids and that they can burst and cause the bleeding. So I'm hoping that is all it is! Fingers crossed for me! Or whatever you're able to cross!

I'll let ya's know what I find out on Tues.

Vee,

Fingers, legs etc are crossed! I had a similar experience once. I was mortified because I was only about 22. He said something about a "vaginal probe" and I said "you're not probing anything!" :)

You ladies are too funny. I havent had that done I dont think what is like a laproscopic procedure? Where they go in a take a biopsy? I had that done years ago and that is when they found cancer. I had to get a hysterectomy when I was 26 years old. Cervical cancer rund in my family as well as breast cancer too.

Well Vee, keep us updated on what is going on. Sam

Vee, you can keep us in stitches. I love you.
I also have had the probe and wasn't told what it was or what procedure was going to take place. I was just sent to this new doctors office and told what to do and I did it. First sight of the size of that camera/ultrasound probe was scarry.
Breast cancer and cervical cancer all runs in my family. I have had both. Also, had a hysterectomy a few years back because of cancer. Something it going to get us. All we can do is catch things early and hope we get well from each incident as it comes along.
Vee, keep us informed on whats happening. I will be keeping up with the reading of everyones posts while I am in Florida. But, may not be able to respond as offen. Can't tie up my parents phone line for long peroids of time. I am looking forward to 82 degrees instead of 28 degrees. I can't believe our lake is frozen enough to have ice fishermen out on it already. It has been cold but my life is to valuable to go out on it until I know for sure it is plenty thick. Two days ago it was only just over an inch thick. Not thick enough for my tastes. I will give it a couple more days and take a stroll out on it before leaving for the warmer temperatures. The guys out there even have their heaters going. I sure wouldn't stay in one spot to long. Ha! They might not be out there to long it is so cold out. No wind. Just plain cold. Brrrrr! I can't think about going out today. Sheryl
