Woman fights for an experimental procedure that could save her life. Chavez was diagnosed in 2003 with systemic scleroderma. Victoria Chavez is a dear friend and she has been fighting an important fight, and has won the battle with the insurance company. She leaves very soon for her stem cell transplant. I can tell you that all of us who know her wish her and her family the very best in their quest for healing this terrible disease. She is truly an inspiration. -Ann

Hi Ann ,

Thanks for letting us know that. So glad she will get her transplant. Perhpas she will run into Peanut and the AZ lady (sorry....forgot your name!!!) while there.

The program takes one person/week. She goes the week before me.
