hi everyone,

i know I haven't written in awhile... (how many of us start a post that way?)
i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with collagenomas? I developed these little bumps on my skin that at first I thought was a rash, then I thought might be ringworm, and then I finally went to see a doctor about. she took a biopsy of one of them (not that easy with thickened skin) and the results came back as collagenoma, which is supposedly a benign skin growth. which sounds like good news except I have at least 50 of them on my chest, stomach and back. it is hard to tell if they are itchy or not, because I am itchy in general. anyway, they are little red-brown lumps that are pretty solid, not filled with fluid or anything. have an appointment with a dermatologist in 2 weeks, so of course I am super impatient now...

i'd greatly appreciate any input.

Hi Darlene,

I wanted to welcome you to the sclero forums! I'm really sorry you are having problems with the collagenoma. I have to say I've never heard of that and was unable to find anything on our ISN site to share with you. I'm hoping someone else will chime in and give you helpful information.

Keep posting and hopefully we can help you through this.

Warm and gentle hugs,
