Well, today is a day I thought I would never see....for many reasons. When I was first diagnosed, I didn't think I would make it this long....My beautiful daughter has had some emotional problems in the past (she's better now but still under therapy)....Well enough for the depressing part of this story!! <_< She and I have come a long way together!!!!!!!She is by biggest supporter and I am hers. She is not what you would call a "girly girl" so the fancy dresses and lots of make-up just aren't her. She has bought a really cute black halter dress with fuscia (dark hot pink) polka dots that is knee length and has a layer of black tulle under the hem. She bought a real cute pair of black low heel open toe with a bow on the top shoes (she only wears athletic shoes and flip flops :P )so that should be interesting!!! )She went last nite and had her nails done and today we go to the beauty shop to get her hair done. He hair isn't long enough for an "updo", so she just wants the big curls, what I call messy look  ) She and her man are going to dinner first with aother couple, then on to the prom. They will stay out all nite (with my approval beforehand) and then Sunday they are going to VA Beach to see the aquarium there. VA Beach is only about a 1 and a half drive from us. She love the sea and sea turtles in particular and her boyfriend wants to make a very special weekend for her :) Of course, her proud Momma will take lots of pictures!!! I haven't figured out how to post them to this site, so if you would like to see them, send me a private message and I will send you the link to the photo website. I store all my pics there as well on my computer to guard against loosing them  I will also post a follow up to let you know how it went.....I think I 'm more excited than she is!!!!!!
Peace :)

I'm so glad your daughter had a wonderful time at her senior prom!

Though I can't even figure out how to post pics here, I hope you are successful and we are able to see your daughter's pics!

The screen goes white when the picture is too big. You will need to resize your photos so that the width in pixels is no greater than 600 wide and 400 tall. Many of the more recent cameras give you a picture that is easily six times that size or even bigger.
Warm wishes,
Jefa

Thanks for the info Carrie!! I'm not a computer whiz, so I will have to get my daughter to show me how to resize my pictures and then I will post them.
Peace :)
