I finished up the stool test last night and my dr. had written down a few things that he was checking out.
One was C-Diff. Has anyone heard of C-Diff? I think it's some kind of infection but I don't know.

Hi Sadie,
C Diff is a bacteria in the intestines that everyone has. Sometimes it can overgrow and produce toxins that can cause stomach pain and diarrhea. He is probably checking to see where your level is.
Let us know the results!

I also had a stool test a month ago and a Gastroscopy, they found Gastritis in the stomach and took quite a few biopsies . My biopsies are normal, but my doctor still prescribed me Flagyl (antibiotic) to take in case I had some infection in my stomach and bowels, to see if it helps. Your doctor may also prescribe this for you to take.

Take care
