First of all, I feel very disappointed on myself, because I haven't been posting on these forums properly for a while. It's been real busy in here, but I've been thinking about you all the time and reading your posts!
I went through the SUP treatments, and everything went absolutely well. It really had some effect on my pigmentation changes at least. The affected areas seem to be smaller and "lighter" than they used to be. At the same time it was really relaxing, the staff was very polite and I got a nice tanning too.
The skin on my left ankle is getting tighter every now and then but I'm not too worried about it right now. If something comes up, I know that I'll just call my doctor and we'll figure out what to do.
After two days I'll fly to Spain to work there for six weeks. I'll be traveling all alone, but I have some contacts and I know I'll make friends with my room mates and coworkers so I don't feel bad about that, and I'm not scared about that either. I'm just excited and scared how I'll find my way to my apartment or to those people who're suppose to take me to my apartment! Yikes. I hope that it will be sunny in there (according to weather forecasts it's raining there now and it'll be raining when I get there..) so I can kind of like continue my SUP there, since the light seems to be working for me.
I have the matriculation exams coming on the fall, so part of my free time in Spain I'll be studying biology and english. It's stressful but I figured that if I'll start to study for them early I won't have so big stress right before the exams. I hope I'll be able to cope with everything else that's going on in my life and the exams together. This fall will be very important because biology is what I want to study in the future, and these tests will affect weather I'll make it to the University or not.
With my family everything is going pretty well right now.. We became closer with my dad during the drivers license training period when he was teaching me, and yeah, we'll still arguing with my mom but that's a bit better now.
In the middle of all this we also decided to break up with my boyfriend, after more that two years. Or actually it was me who wanted that. It feels bad, of course, but I know it's better this way, and now we can both get on with our lives
Just wanted to let you know all this since I probably won't be online too much for the next six weeks! I'll try to find a internet cafe in my destination, I'm such a net addict Oh and yes, I will be careful and take care of me and everyone else in Spain.
I'll let you know how it all went when I come back to Finland!
love you all,
P.S. And oh, if anyone decides to visit PortAventura in Spain near Barcelona in June or the first half of July please contact me!

Thanks for giving us such a warm and complete update. Sounds like you are making lots of changes and starting many new paths. I remember that time in my life and it was the best of times (and in some ways, the worst, but it is always that way, isn't it?). I had a similar situation in going away from home to another place for six weeks with a bunch of strangers. It was a terrific experience. Be true to yourself and keep your options open. Your whole life is ahead of you. Hope you have a great time.

I hope you have a fantastic time working out in Spain this summer. I know you have already made some big decisions but feel sure they are the right ones for you.
My own daughter spent her 2nd year of university in America, as a parent I felt very worried about her but she kept in touch using the internet and she loved the experience. It was all very worthwhile for her even though it was hard work. I think it gave her lots of confidence & belief in herself.
Do take care and we look forward to hearing how you get on.

So glad to hear from you. I have been wondering what you've been up to - sounds like LOTS!
What an exciting adventure you have planned. I admire you. I am not so brave as to travel to another country all alone and live and work with people I've never met. Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row and are ready to go.
You know, you have a twin in my town. So, every time I see her I think of you Love your new photo by the way.
I'm a mom, so you know I have to say "Be careful and take care of yourself!" Looking forward to hearing all about your trip when you get back - write when you can.
