I was wondering if anyone has a good gastro in the Detroit area for me. Seems I am not having good luck finding a good one that can deal with scleroderma. I'm frustrated with the U of M people, so don't recommend them unless they are excellent or give me a name from there please.

Hi, Sandy. Welcome to the ISN Sclero Forums. Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your doctors. I am unable to recommend any gastro doctors but we do have several members from your area, so hopefully one of them will be able to help you. In the meantime, feel free to read and post - I look forward to getting to know you better.
Warm wishes,

I have a great Gastroenterologist he is in Riverview. He is the one that first realized I had Scleroderma. Also, I happen to go to U of M for gastro problems, and scleroderma. Sounds like you might have a bad taste for the U of M hospital. I hope you get your issues resolved, they have some great doctors and staff.

Since I already go to Dr. Scheinfeld for gastro problems I prefer to stay with him for that situation for the time being. He takes good care of me and my health problems. Let me know if you want his number and I will private message you with the information.

I hope you let us know more about yourself and your situation. Mayhap we can answer some of your many questions. You never know one day we may even meet. It is a very small world. Welcome to our Sclero Forums and a great group of friends. We are here for each other in many ways. Let me know if I can help you further.
Strength and Warmth,
