What is your favorite board game?

I am looking for a gift for my dad's wife. She has a lot of games....and I don't know which ones. I'd like to get some ideas from you all.

Thanks,
Clem

Scrabble has always been my favourite. I also used to like one called Feudal which was like a cross between chess and Stratego. It was one of a series called Bookshelf Games.
Warm wishes,
Jefa

Ahhhh scrabble is my fav too. Upwards is a cool 3 dimensional version of scrabble that is fun too. "Catch Phrase" is a blast and if she likes monopoly and is into some sort of hobby like me "wine" they have play offs of that game. For instance I have "Wineopoly".

Clementine,

I also like Monopoly and Scrabble. Boggle and Sorry are good games too.

Sweet, you'll have to give me the rules for "Wineoply", it sounds like my kind of game!

Clementine,

There is a new version of Clue just put out on the market. That way you can be almost sure she does not have it.

I agree!

I also love to play Scrabble and Upwards. I've also played Uno, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Clue...with our grandkids, as well as Aggrevation.

Alot of people also play Bunco.

Sorry, but I'm out of the fold when it comes to new board games... we usually play 500, Hearts, Pinochle or Cribbage, depending on who wants to play what.

At any rate, games are great entertainment...a great way to pass time an socialize!
Please let us know what you come up with?

Razz,
Rules, cards, pieces all come with the board game. It isn't a made up game it's put out by the company. It's fun!
