Hi everyone,

Have been thinking about Nina. She was so sick the last time she posted I was hoping someone has heard from her. Does anyone know if she is OK?

With gentle thoughts,

Judy

Hi Judy! I hope she is ok. I haven't posted in a while so I don't know when last she was on. She'll be in my thoughts.
I may have Scleroderma, but Scleroderma doesn't have me!

Hello All ~ I am so sorry that I haven't been in touch. I have not been feeling well at all. I have an appointment at Jefferson Hospital (with a stomach specialist) on Debember 15th. He wants to do another endoscopy ~ not sure where we'll go from there. I'm still throwing up blood, which scares me a lot, but I guess there is little that can be done about it for now.
I want to thank all of you that have posted ~ thank you so much for your concern. I'll be sure to ask my grandaughter to let you all know what happens on the 15th.
Much love,
Nina (DE)

Dear Nina:

I wish you could get in sooner, especially if you are throwing up blood! It doesn't sound right at all and I would be extremely concerned too. I'm so sorry you are so sick and my thoughts are with you. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Warm hugs,

Peggy

Nina,

It is good to hear from you!! I agree with Peggy, there should be something that can be done but if they can't act faster then one day at a time is what we do and no need to let our emotions make things worse. It just isn't good practice but am not going there. Are you able to drink fluids and do you have someone helping you out I hope? Will keep you in my thoughts Nina and wish you well. Please keep us posted and take care.

With gentle thoughts,

Judy

I am so glad you were able to post, Nina...thank you for letting us know what you've been going through. I'm so sorry you've had this trouble and am on board withthose who wish you could get in sooner.

Is this blood bright red or no?
The reason I ask...is that my husband was doing the same, although I don't know how long this has been happening with you.
Because his was bright red, he put our minds at ease...letting us know that he my husband broke blood vessels because he was vomiting with such force. It was just good to know...

I wish you an expedient answer and hope that the cause can be taken care of and that you can start feeling much better.

Thank you for asking that your grand daughter let us know how you are doing, Nina.

Soft Hugs,
Susie

Hi Nina

I'm glad to hear from you as well but also sorry to hear you are having such an awful time lately. No wonder you're concerned, we're concerned with you too...hopefully, Susie is on to something and it won't be as bad as you think like in her husband's case (not to make light of that either of course). I guess there's no chance of you being on a cancellation list to get in sooner? Take care...and hopefully your granddaughter will try to keep us posted on how you are making out.
Sending good wishes your way!
