:D Congratulations to Jennifer!!!! :D

Don't think you can just sneak something as excitingly major as this in another thread. We like to celebrate around here, ya know!

Any details you care to share? We'll take crumbs, if that's all you care to throw us :)

Seriously, I was very happy and excited when I read your news. It's always a good thing to follow your heart especially when your head agrees that it's a good thing!

Hi Jennifer...I am new to this forum but do want to wish you well with your upcoming marriage. Your fiance must be a great guy to propose knowing your illness and complications that can arise. Congratulations and best wishes to both of you. Take care, Everyone.

Wow, I am so glad I decided to read this post because I had no idea it was all about me, me, and me!! LOL

Well, I am engaged to a wonderful man I met in June 05, right when I was diagnosed with Sclero. So, yes, he is a trooper. I guess there's nothing crazy to tell. We got engaged Saturday, Dec. 30th, while I was in Denver visiting him.
I am back in Arkansas now and will move back with him in March. I have already lived with him before, as we were engaged once before (oops, guess we got the jitters and yes, different ring this time so it's not jinxed) so this should be an easy transition.

Now, we want a family so we'lll see. I am very excited and thank you all, my second family, for being so thoughtful.

Oh, and as far as hearing actual wedding bells, we've already decided no big wedding for us. We just want to get married very soon and be done with it. I am sure we'll take a vacation somewhere, if we can part with our doggies for that long.

My worry is moving back to Denver, the mile high city. I have become lax on leaving the house without oxygen supplement and now I'll have to use it much more. What we will do for love.

Thanks everyone....
Jennifer

Oh Jen,
I am so happy for you, you seem so excited. Wish I could see the ring!

I do worry though about your being in Denver, too bad he couldn't move to where you are!

The ring is so pretty!!! Very sparkly and it looks antiquish because of the platinum setting. My husband to be works as an electrical engineer in a specialty area....not so easy to move to keep the position he has, so off I go. We will eventually look into moving elsewhere.
I am happy!!!
