We have a small cardboard donation box for cancer research on our counter at work. Has anyone seen one for sclero in their cyber travels?

Hi Barefut!

No, I haven't seen one. In fact, I can't remember seeing any kind of "scleroderma awareness" brochures, national or local fund-raising leaflets at all.

I have been tempted to make myself a T-shirt that says "I have scleroderma - Ask me about it!"

Hi Barefut,

Just call me at 1-800-564-7099 to make arrangements for scleroderma donation boxes!

People can also donate or purchase awareness items like Scleroderma Awareness Bracelets, Brochures, Books, and Can Koozies at our wonderful new Sclero Shops (which uses the very fast and easy Google Checkout!).

Jeannie, we also have scleroderma brochures you can print out and distribute yourself (no cost).

And, we even have a separate "Sclero Cafe Shop" filled with awareness items like t-shirts, sweatshirts, teddy bears, tons of stuff!
Warm Hugs,

A quick story about sclero awareness.

Recently my dad was at the cemetery putting flowers or something on my moms grave, there was a man not too far from my dad visiting his wife, the man came over and started talking to my dad, he then asked my dad what happened to my mom and he proceeded to tell him, then my father asked him what happened to his wife and he replied, "She died of a disease that no one ever heard of," and my father pressed him and he said scleroderma, my dad replied, "I am very familiar with this disease my daughter has it."
