I had to share this - somebody came up with the idea of making a fleece bag big enough to hold your mouse pad, the mouse, and your hand! I figure tossing in a small grainbag would make it even nicer. Now what am I going to do about the other hand??

That is a neat idea. I have learned to type in my gloves, but would purchase such an item. I don't sew, but will ask a girlfriend who does if she will indulge me.
I may have Scleroderma, but Scleroderma doesn't have me!

There actually is a product available that you can plug into a USB port, so you don't need to heat up the rice bag. Just search for USB mousepad warmer.
